Ms. Preet Kang

Preet Kang was appointed by the Regional Council of Peel as the community representative to the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Services Board effective May 14, 2004. She was re-appointed for a further four years in December 2006.

Ms. Kang has extensive volunteer experience. She currently serves as Chair of the Caledon Public Library Board, is a member of the William Osler Health System Community Advisory Council and is an appointed member by the Town of Caledon of the Mayfield West Stakeholder Advisory Group. Ms. Kang has previously served on the Board of Directors of Brampton Caledon Community Living, Brampton Safe City, and the Valleywood Residents Association.

Ms. Kang is actively involved with the Sikh Community as well as being a fundraiser and speaker at events involving youth and women issues. Ms. Kang serves as a volunteer at local elementary and high school and has been for over 10 years.

She holds a number of degrees, including a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Master of Business Administration, and is currently employed as Clinic Director in a local medical clinic.

Ms. Kang is a resident of Caledon, and is multi-lingual, speaking five languages.
