FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brampton, ON - The Peel Police Services Board today launched a process to select a Chief Administrative Officer to join Chief Duraiappah's executive team. The Board has contracted the services of Odgers Berndtson, who will assist the Board to coordinate the process.

The search process will be open until March 6, 2023. The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction and oversight for the general business, administration, and support functions across Peel Regional Police with the goal of ensuring that the Service meets Police Services Board requirements and policies, and operations are properly supported administratively.

"The selection of a Chief Administrative Officer is a critical step in our ongoing efforts to strengthen Peel Regional Police and enhance its ability to serve the community," said Police Services Board Chair Ron Chatha. "The Board looks forward to working together with Chief Duraiappah to ensure that Peel Regional Police continues to be a leader in policing in Canada."
