BRAMPTON – Mr. Ron Chatha is the newest member of the Peel Police Services Board. A long-time Brampton resident, Mr. Chatha was appointed by the provincial government for a three-year term.

Ron has been a Realtor since 2008 and is currently working for a leading real estate firm in Peel Region. Outside of real estate, Ron has a lengthy history of serving his community. Passionate about community service, Ron is an active volunteer and is serving on many not-for-profit boards. He is serving as a board member for the Peel Children’s Aid Foundation and has also served on Brampton’s School Traffic Safety Council. He is also currently the Vice Chair for the Committee of Adjustment and Minor Variance for the City of Brampton.

Ron is also an avid sports fan who enjoys playing cricket and watching cricket, basketball and hockey. He and his wife have been living in Brampton for over a decade and are raising two children.

“Over the years, I have had the privilege of living, working and raising a family in the Region of Peel. I am honoured to have this opportunity to give back to our community,” said Ron Chatha. “I am looking forward to working with the Board and Chief of Police to ensure we keep the Region of Peel a safe and vibrant place to live.”
