Vice-Chair
Mr. Ron Chatha is a long-time resident of Brampton and was recently appointed by the Provincial government to the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Service Board in January 2019 for a three year term ending in January 2022.
Ron has been a Realtor since 2008 and is currently working for a leading real estate firm in Peel Region.
Outside of real estate, Ron has a lengthy history of serving his community. Passionate about community service, Ron is an active volunteer and is serving on many not-for-profit boards. He is serving as a board member for the Peel Children’s Aid Foundation and has also served on Brampton’s School Traffic Safety Council. He is also currently the Chair for the Committee of Adjustment and Minor Variance for the City of Brampton.
Ron is also an avid sports fan who enjoys playing cricket and watching cricket, basketball and hockey.
Ron and his wife have been living in Brampton for over a decade and are raising two children.
