Sumeeta Kohli, Vice-Chair

Sumeeta Kohli is an accomplished community leader, entrepreneur, and business executive with a strong track record of impact across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She is the founder and principal consultant of Glocal Marketing, a strategic agency that helps organizations build meaningful connections with diverse communities through inclusive and culturally relevant campaigns.

With over two decades of experience in community leadership, board governance, and organizational development, Sumeeta has led initiatives that advance equity, civic engagement, and sustainable growth. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to collaboration, representation, and empowering underrepresented voices.

Sumeeta currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Peel Police Service Board, where she contributes to the governance and oversight of one of Canada’s largest and most diverse police services. She is an active member of the Board’s Governance and Human Rights Committee and Human Resources Committee. In addition, she serves on the boards of Destination Ontario and the Mississauga Arts Council, lending her expertise in strategy, stakeholder engagement, and community-building.

A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Sumeeta works to ensure leadership spaces reflect the communities they represent. In recognition of her longstanding contributions to public service, she was awarded the 2025 King Charles III Coronation Medal.
