Nando Iannicca, Chair

Nando Iannicca was elected Chair of the Peel Police Services Board on April 21, 2023.

On December 8, 2022, Regional Chair Nando Iannicca was re-appointed to serve as a Regional Council representative on the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Service Board for the 2022-2026 council term.

“The Region of Peel is a very special institution. What we do, we do well. We are so well-positioned for the future,” said Chair Iannicca after the appointment. “I look forward to working together with Regional Council to ensure that we respond to the needs of Peel region in these challenging times.”

Bonnie Crombie, Mayor, City of Mississauga

On December 8, 2022, Mayor Bonnie Crombie was re-appointed to serve as a Regional Council representative on the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Service Board for the 2022-2026 council term.

Since first being elected as Mayor in 2014, Mayor Crombie has worked diligently to hold the line on taxes, invested in improving traffic congestion and building transit, attracted major economic development to the City all while managing the growth of Canada’s sixth largest city.

Mr. Alan Boughton was recently re-appointed by the Provincial government to the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Service Board for his second three year term ending in May 2025.

Patrick Brown PortraitPatrick Brown, Mayor, City of Brampton

Patrick Brown was re-elected Mayor of Brampton in October 2022 on a platform of focusing on public safety, investing in our infrastructure, expanding recreation opportunities, and attracting new businesses to our city. 

Patrick was born in Toronto in 1978 of Irish and Italian descent. He graduated from St. Michael’s College, then studied political science at the University of Toronto and graduated with a law degree from the University of Windsor. He has also studied French in Trois-Rivières, Quebec.

On April 24, 2023, Len Carby was sworn in to serve as the Citizen Appointee for the Peel Police Services Board. Len Carby is a Financial Service Professional, IG Wealth Management with over a decade of financial planning experience with professionals and business owners. 

With over 20 years of community service in Canada and abroad, Len is driven to serve his community by bringing practical and innovative social leadership. He understands the challenges and opportunities facing the Region of Peel, and desires to position the growing region to confront them by offering new ideas to make his community a caring, inclusive, and welcoming place for its diverse residents.
